After last months 4 room road block, we've gone for quality over quantity, meaning Farmfestival get a chance to take over the main room alongside Tweak&Bleep. We're showcasing two very exciting new bands, Plugs, and another we can't speak of...whilst the Farmfestival DJs back-up guest slots by electro funkster, Sam Son and Personal Space Invaders providing an eclectic DJ set.

Expect the finest electronic party music all round.

Plus (as if you needed a plus!) it's Si and Gav's birthday night...so those of you who know us it's our joint birthday celebration. I'm hoping to post a MIX EVERY FIRST WEEKEND OF THE MONTH from now on, and I've made it on time.

I've been a little nostalgic recently and wanted to get stuck into a proper underground house mixup, starting off deep but picking up into some rolling 4/4 beats and basslines. It took a serious session of rummaging to get together some tracks from around 1999-02, when House was a little more organic and less electro-fied. There's a few newbies in there too, making it a little more timeless... reminds me of nights down at Fabric on a Saturday.

This little tongue-in-cheek mixup came about after I discovered a few B-side gems and charity shop specials lurking at the back of an old crate. Then, with a few bands pulling out some excellent pastiches of late, it all fell together nicely for something a little different – of a certain time and place – the aspirational, recreational highs of 80's Hollywood!

Fist clenching synths, driving basslines, giddy vocals. We're on the cusp of greatness here, lets do this!
